“I have always had a passion for helping others. In High School I volunteered with the big brother/big sister program while working at Coney Island with employees with developmental disabilities during the summer. It was during this period of time that I shadowed former OVRS Director Michael DeFrancesco for a day. This brief experience with OVRS, had a major impact on my career. For the past eleven years I have been working at Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services, working with people with behavioral health diagnoses, many of which have a dual diagnosis. I received my Master of Social Work degree in 2012 and a independent social worker license in 2015.

One of my strengths is advocacy. It is something that fuels my passion for working in this field. I’ve never been afraid to stand up for the rights of the people I work with to be sure that they have the ability to live the life that they choose to live.

When not working I spend my time with my wonderful family. I’ve been married to my wife Amy for four years and have three year old twin boys and a girl on the way. I am an avid sports and music fan and can often be spotted at concerts, sporting events, and festivals around town.

I’m looking forward to meeting everyone connected with OVRS and joining such a talented team of professionals.”
