Ohio Valley Residential Services Public Statement on the arrest of Carla Clark
December 4th, 2019
Ohio Valley Residential Services (OVRS) is saddened by the recent arrest of former employee Carla Clark. She is charged with theft of client funds.
Last month, our agency routine internal system controls found the discrepancies in client fund records of some of the client’s Ms. Clark was providing services to. We quickly started our internal investigation, and fired Ms. Clark, when it became obvious that she could not account for the missing client funds.
We turned the case over to Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services and the police. OVRS has fully cooperated with the authorities during the investigation.
Per state rule, OVRS will reimburse all funds stolen from our clients.
